
Claus Catalysts
UDEC’s Activated Alumina Catalysts are designed specifically for the Claus reaction and are tailored for the optimal conversion of undesirable hydrogen sulphide and other compounds (SO2, CS2 and COS), to elemental sulphur.
Our catalysts not only has a high surface area, but also has a high microporosity further enhancing mass transfer characteristics leading to higher conversion efficiencies.
We also offer a titanium oxide based Claus catalyst. This catalyst achieves nearly complete hydrolysis of COS and CS2, while allowing the Claus reaction to proceed to equilibrium.
This ultimately resulting in a very high overall sulphur conversion efficiency.
