Mist Eliminators
Our Mist Eliminators, also known as droplet separators, are made from high-quality knitted wire mesh and fiber materials, which provide an excellent tradeoff between good separation efficiency and low pressure drop.
In many separation processes, gas and vapour flows play an essential role. These products however, are designed to effectively remove unwanted mechanical and thermal droplet formation that takes place in gas streams of columns, gas scrubbers, and liquids accumulators. For certain processes, these liquid fractions must be separated from the overall gas or vapour flow.
The size of the droplets mostly depends on their kind of origin and their prehistory. Two principal mechanisms are responsible for their formation: mechanical generation as well as condensation.
