The stems of these plugs are machined from alloy steel and heat-treated for longevity and also has the same thread pitch as the electrode. This ensures that the plug stays engaged in the electrode during the addition process and increases longevity too.

Our plugs are available in sizes ranging from 177.17mm to 431.8mm, custom sizes are also available to meet your specific needs. 

Additionally, our plugs are machined from a solid 6061-T6 billet for maximum strength. Our Aluminum Addition Plugs are designed with a minimum safety factor of 4x working load limit, making them a reliable choice for your lifting operations.

These plugs come with a standard machine finish, but we also offer anodised color options upon request.
