UDEC’s Diatomaceous Earth (DE) consists exclusively of freshwater diatoms with up to 98% of the Aulacoseira Granulata species.

This rare type of DE is cylindrical in shape, and the high pore volume of these diatoms provide high mechanical strength and natural filtration characteristics. This high quality, high purity DE deposits are known for their low density, high porosity, high surface area, abrasiveness, and brightness.
