The UDEC Management Team often ventures out into nature to brainstorm. We believe that it is vitally important to stimulate your mind in creative ways such as exercising. Here we were very fortunate to venture out to the beautiful Paarl Rock mountain for an afternoon of refreshed thinking.
Due to Covid-19 we have adapted our technical support, with fewer site visits and more virtual meet-ups. It’s been great seeing the faces of our valued clients, engaging again and learning that they are well and staying safe during this trying time.
To beat the cabin fever and capitalize on the beautiful weather, we found ourselves paddling side by side on the Breede River. With many laughs, sore shoulders and “war stories” to tell, we had plenty of fun and the memories will definitely last forever.
We received a visit from a very special man on his birthday! Alvin Naidoo has been a loyal partner to UDEC for almost two decades! We value his excellent service and reliability in helping us deliver on our promise to our clients.
Throughout April and May we successfully hosted our Carbon 101 Training for the Gold Recovery Plants, this time with Imaad and Farah also joining in the driver’s seat.
Each session covered the following 5 topics:
Contamination of Carbon
Regenerating your Carbon
Best Screening Practices
We wish to thank all of the attendees as well as the organisers. We are also grateful to those that have contributed to making the Q&A sessions extra engaging and informative.
Although virtually, it’s been a pleasure interacting with the Gold industries’ plant managers, metallurgical and maintenance teams and we hope that you have enjoyed the Carbon 101 series as much as we did!
